BRAINTMS LLC d/b/a MedBid ("MedBid," "we," "our," or "us") operates medbid.ai (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Platform. By using MedBid, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Information you provide: When you post a request, create a provider account, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and a description of the healthcare or wellness service you seek. Patients are not required to provide a diagnosis, medical record number, or insurance information to use the Platform.

Usage data: We automatically collect log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs to operate and improve the Platform.

Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies for session management, language preferences, and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function as intended.

• To match your request with verified providers in your geographic area.
• To send bid notifications via email or SMS.
• To verify provider credentials and maintain platform integrity.
• To improve the Platform, detect fraud, and ensure security.
• To comply with applicable law and respond to legal process.

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information as follows:

• With providers: Providers receive an anonymized request summary. Your name, email, and full contact details are shared only after you accept a bid.
• Service providers: We engage third parties (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Legal obligations: We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

MedBid is building toward HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. We treat all health-related information submitted to the Platform with heightened care. We do not sell health information to third parties for marketing purposes. If you are a covered entity or business associate, please review our Business Associate Agreement. We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, fulfill legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Patient request data is retained for a minimum of three (3) years following the completion or expiration of the request. You may request deletion of your account by contacting privacy@medbid.ai.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@medbid.ai with your request. We will respond within 30 days. California residents may have additional rights under CCPA.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Policy on this page and updating the Effective Date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
